company information

Who are we?
OK, let's start with the obvious. Coca-Cola Amatil (New Zealand) Limited. That's us. There'll be some parts of the name you recognise and some you don't, but it will all be explained here.

Coca-Cola Amatil (New Zealand) Limited (CCANZ) is a bottler for The Coca-Cola Company and part of the Coca-Cola Amatil group, which employs 25,000 people in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. We've got somewhere in the vicinity of 1,100 of those people working right here in Aotearoa, manufacturing, selling and distributing such household names as Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Powerade, Pump, Kiwi Blue, Fanta, L&P, Sprite, Schweppes and Keri Juice.

Vision, Mission, and Values.
So now you know who we are, you are probably wondering what makes us special and why would you want to work for us (aside from the free Coke... yes, there is free Coke). There are a couple of key things that make us stand out, our vision and our values. Our vision, Refreshing the Nation, is reinforced by our mission to provide Kiwis with a refreshing experience every time they come into contact with us, whether it's our team, our products or the services we provide. Our values of Take the Lead, Keep it Real, and Stand Together underpin our vision and mission.

Sustainability
Our Sustainability strategy reflects the importance we at CCANZ place on our Corporate Social Responsibility. This is key to our Sustainability strategy and reflects the importance we at CCANZ places on our Corporate Social Responsibility. Our employees commit to actively supporting sustainability initiatives e.g. finding new ways to reduce, reuse and recycle. They are encouraged to look for opportunities to contribute to the community and they take responsibility for their own safety, health and wellbeing within our 'Zero Harm' workplace.

Sponsorship
Because we value standing together, we've committed to invest in local, innovative programmes that make a tangible difference to people's lives. Our community sponsorship programmes are focused on wellbeing and the environment. Each year we invest an average of $1 million in financial donations, key event or organisation sponsorships and product donations.

We regularly receive requests for sponsorship and choose key partnerships carefully that reflect our company values and allow us to give back to the communities in which we operate.

There's quite a list of programmes we sponsor and we could spend some time talking ourselves up, but we're not really that kind of company. A couple of programmes that we are particularly proud of though are:

  • Coca-Cola Amatil Young New Zealander of the Year
  • Christmas Box Appeal
  • Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park

Globally we work in partnership with The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) represented in New Zealand by Coca-Cola Oceania (CCO). TCCC has had long-standing partnerships with the world's most iconic global sporting events. TCCC has been a major Olympic Games sponsor since 1928 and also sponsor major international sporting events, including the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games and the FIFA 2010 World Cup. CCANZ and CCO joint sponsor the All Blacks, provincial netball and Super 14 rugby. Not bad aye?
